Nadia Gaona

Born and raised in Bexar County, Texas, Nadia developed a love for nature at an early age that has continued throughout her life and work. For the past 14 years, she has worked as an organizer with a focus on building relationships as well as supporting home and community food production for increased community resilience. She is currently a Community Health Worker working with a team of amazing people on the Southside of San Antonio and is a board member of the local Food Policy Council where she advocates for the prioritization of equity, inclusion, and community-based practices within the organization's work.
